5 Nights/6 Days Omo valley and Arbaminch
Take a flight or drive to Arbaminch. Overnight at Paradise Lodge Arbaminch
In the morning take a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the “crocodile market”, and the local hippos.
Afterwards, depart from Arba Minch to Jinka. On the way after lunch you will visit Konso people village
(Konso is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site) the Konso people are known for their wooden
statues, known as wakas, which are erected in honor of dead heroes as well as their innovative
agricultural terracing. After the visit, proceed driving to Jinka, Overnight Eco Omo Jinka or similar.
Early in the morning we will drive to the village of Mursi and around mid-day we will drive back to
Jinka, After Lunch, you will be proceeding to Turmi. Overnight at Paradise Lodge Turmi.
visit Karo people at the Korcho village with beautiful views over the Omo River, the Karo people are
famous for their body painting. Afterwards, return to Turmi, Monday is market day which is one of the
most colorful markets in the area and is visited by many tribes, including Hamer and Karo. Late in the
afternoon you will visit Hamer village, Overnight at Paradise Lodge Turmi.
Today take a trip to Omorate to visit the Dassenech tribe. Here you will cross the Omo River by local
boat and enter a Dassenech village. Then drive to Arbaminch Overnight Paradise lodge Arbaminch
Fly back to Addis Ababa,
